New Innovative Cosmetic Raw Materials & Technologies Registered in China Boost Industrial Upgrade

Recently, the National Medical Products Administration has released the latest updates on cosmetic raw material registrations. A batch of proprietary innovative raw materials and cutting-edge technologies have obtained official filing approval. Covering bio-active ingredients, botanical extracts, advanced delivery systems and eco-friendly synthesis processes, domestic scientific achievements are rapidly transformed into industrial products, driving high-quality and compliant development of China’s beauty industry.

Synthetic biological ingredients take the leading position among newly registered items. Recombinant collagen, modified elastin and fermented bioactive peptides are officially filed. Manufactured via targeted microbial fermentation and gene recombination, these ingredients feature high purity and excellent biocompatibility. Widely adopted in anti-aging, skin barrier repair and soothing skincare formulas, they deliver remarkably higher efficacy than conventional raw materials.

A large number of distinctive Chinese botanical extracts have passed registration. Raw materials extracted from dendrobium, snow lotus, ganoderma lucidum and ginseng stem cells are produced through low-temperature extraction and plant cell cultivation. Natural active substances are well preserved, catering to sensitive skin care and skin brightening demands, forming differentiated products with cultural charm and technological advantages.

Novel skincare delivery technologies have also completed technical registration, effectively improving skin penetration capacity. Nano-liposome encapsulation, supramolecular complexation and plant exosome transdermal delivery are approved for commercial use. These technologies stabilize oxidizable active ingredients, enhance skin absorption and reduce irritation, enabling effective components to act deeply on skin layers and optimize practical skincare performance.

Eco-friendly and low-carbon manufacturing techniques are included in registration, promoting industrial production transformation. Plant-derived alternative materials, degradable derivatives and low-temperature synthesis technologies help cut energy consumption and carbon emissions during production. Complying with global sustainable beauty trends, they balance product safety, efficacy and environmental protection.

Industry insiders state that the booming registration of innovative raw materials reflects the steady growth of domestic R&D capability. Independent technologies gradually reduce reliance on imported materials. In the future, more scientific achievements will be put into mass production under standardized registration management, and core innovation will continuously strengthen the competitiveness of Chinese cosmetic brands.
